Typical tours to the cultural capital are packed with excursions and cultural programmes that often fail to engage the younger generation. In the expedition “Secrets of the Northern Capital with Lingua,” the famous — and not-so-famous — sites of the Leningrad Region take on a completely new meaning and resonate deeply with participants.
Expeditions are, above all, active creative work — students themselves develop the route and plan, and then, with the help of their teacher, develop reflective thinking based on the day’s experiences: they enrich their intellectual and emotional intelligence, expand their vocabulary, improve their foreign language proficiency, and absorb new knowledge naturally — not through rote memorisation.
You can simply visit St. Petersburg, enjoy the views and architecture, immerse yourself in history, and feel the grandeur of your native culture.
Or, through the use of humanitarian technologies, you can forever preserve within yourself the richness and uniqueness of Russian culture — and be able to share it in both Russian and English!
On June 19, participants will set off on an amazing adventure. The route includes: St. Petersburg, Vyborg, Zelenogorsk, and Kronstadt — travelling by bus and the Lastochka (Swallow) high-speed train.
Every day features an excursion programme combined with English lessons based on what they’ve seen, using humanitarian technologies grounded in the scientific methods of Passov E.I. and Zhuravleva L.V.
