July 9 — Day 3 at the Camp
The morning started with an early wake-up and preparations for an excursion (which is why we went to breakfast earlier and woke up a bit earlier than usual). After a hearty breakfast, our squad headed by bus to the yacht.
At the port, I noticed many, many different yachts — each one beautiful in its own way. I really enjoy excursions with boat rides because the water is calming and gives a feeling of peace.
As it turned out, there were not only camp groups on the yacht but also other holidaymakers from Kemer and Antalya. I should note that there were people of various nationalities: Turks, Russians, Brits, Azerbaijanis, Uzbeks, Kazakhs, Syrians, Iranians…
Time on the excursion flew by unnoticed. We chatted, played new games, took photos, and tried to squeeze into the noisy foam party disco. But I’m especially grateful to Max and Ivan for sharing their music preferences with me.
Upon returning to the camp, we had free time until dinner, and we decided to spend it at the pool. Misha and Denis were tired, so they stayed in the room, while the rest of us — our small group — went swimming. It was more fun than ever! I honestly didn’t think swimming in a pool could be that enjoyable.
The rest of the day also passed quickly but more calmly. We played board games, then had our evening activities and listened to each other. I love these sessions because they help us become more open with one another and understand each other better. This time, we learned that Maxim has an advanced swimming rank, and Denis has been swimming competitively for four years. That’s why they were in the sea without life jackets and dived off the yacht. In the evening, Dasha shared with us that when she first saw the waves in the open sea, she was so captivated that she couldn’t tear herself away from gazing at them for a whole hour! Ivan and Elena kept an eye on her. Ivan, by the way, realised that he could spend his whole life just looking at the sea and the cliffs, listening to his favourite music.
Also, every evening we practice giving each other compliments. Sometimes it works out well, and sometimes it turns into a joke — but it’s still nice.
And so, another day at camp passed quickly but eventfully. With each passing day, I become more and more convinced that I don’t regret this trip for a single moment!
